erm.. great sharing nites ...yesterday....thank you for invitation .....im sarting this posting with one questions......do we have a choices sending anak anak ke sekolah yang kita suka?
Dulu waktu aku sekolah rasanya we have no choices ... kita akan di hantar pada sekolah yang berdekatan dengan alamat rumah kan... but nowdays they change.. so lucky student nowdays the can choose the school the want to go... we have lots types of school skrg.... sekolah international ada.. sekolah agama ada, sekolah seni ada..sekolah sukan ada... so many lah...see how fast education system growth....macam macam fasilitis yang mula disediakan di sekolah.. lebih lebih lagi kalau private school... from swimming pool sampai ke lane bowling.. some school provide to make sure student not just only study but they learn... long life learning ...it is process yang never stop...
i like to share a few comments and some issues brought up during yesterday session
like the way Dato Freida answer it... are we learn sex before... at school (During our school time)? no is't.. but we learn science...we learn reproductive system ..so on so forth sumenya dalam sains.. so the important in teaching sex education not teaching them about safe sex ker or contradictions ker etc.. but the VALUE.... VALUE as a girl.. value as a boy.. how important of pelajar lelaki nih tau menghormati pelajar perempuan.. & tugas mereka melindungi.. teach them about value.. about self protected...about tanggungjawab if sudah terlajak.. itu yang lebih wajar untuk di ajarkan..
2. Sains & Math in BI/BM
on this issues.. i would added my opinion on it... some how dalam permasalahan ini sebenarnya kita terlupa... BI/BM is a language... so apa kaitan language with the knowledge of sains and math..sejarah dulu pernah membuktikan pada satu masa dahulu apabila satu satu ilmu itu di dalam certain bahasa eg bahasa arab, atau bahasa latin..atau bahasa yunani.. (otak pikir pikir..ada ke bahasa yunani ~ macam ada kot) so sebagai seoarang yang nak mendapatkan ilmu dia perlu menguasai bahasanya...so in this case... sains dan math can be remain in Bahasa Melayu or in English medium..doesnt matter.. yang penting ilmunya sampai.. & bahasa something that u have to speak & practice...so as a conclusion kalaupun belajar sains & math dalam BI belum tentu pun pandai cakap BI nanti... =)
actually ada beberapa lagi issues yang berbangkit tapi tak ingat the content secara keseluruhanya... but one more thing yang membakar semangat untuk meneruskan perjuangan dalamb idang pendidikan when dato freida share valuable experince how do she start getting involved dalam bidang pendidikan nih...starting bila dia nak hantar anaknya yang berusia 4 tahun ke ekolah after that tak diterima dengan alasan too young... then she thinking of open her own school.. starting with only 4 students.. then she teach her small cousin jadi operator... tukang angkat call.. hheheheh siap provide teks how to anwering the call... how hard she work to prove only education can change the world... then now she prove with hard work skrg dia dah ada 3 sekolah including international school.. impossible is nothing! rasanya 2 hours session terlalu singkat untuk berkongsi segala experincenya dalam bidang pendidikan.. really admire and inspire me... i do like if get an oppurtunity having an experince sharing session with her.. prayer for luck... =) ..
anyway learning is a process .. never know when it start and never know when it ends...
love to learn.. learn to love...
